STRONG GIRL SQUAD

CrossFit Iron Duke are delighted to announce that our specialised ‘Strong Girl Squad’ holiday club is back this Summer!!!
Sessions will be running 4 August to 21 August, as follows:
Tuesdays & Thursdays – 1200-1530
Fridays – 1300-1700

The Strong Girl Squad Holiday Club is back this summer designed for girls aged 11–16 who want to feel stronger, more confident, and connected.

Across the programme, girls will:
*Try a range of fun activities including fitness, cooking, and creative sessions
*Take part in wellbeing workshops focused on confidence, resilience, and self‑belief
*Build friendships and a sense of belonging in a supportive environment
*Learn practical coping skills to manage stress and life’s challenges

This isn’t just a holiday club. It’s a space where girls can grow, connect, and thrive

The CFID Strong Girl Club (SGS) offers FREE* places for our Holiday Club.

We are also working to meet some of the material needs that preclude girls from engaging in sport, by providing sports kit and other necessities (toiletries, etc.) SGS involves diverse sessions that concentrate on nutrition, fitness, and boosting the confidence of young girls, aged between 11-16. These aim to enhance their self-esteem, promoting a focus on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, thereby improving their overall health and well-being.

Activities scheduled throughout the week will cover various aspects of a healthy lifestyle. These will encompass meal planning and cooking nutritious dishes, engaging in craft activities to explore different creative pursuits, sessions focusing on well-being, and equipping girls with coping mechanisms for navigating a sometimes, stressful world.

*The CFID Strong Girl Squad holiday club is FREE for girls aged 11-16 who are eligible for free school meals. If your child does not qualify for free school meals, there a limited number of paid places available each day for £25 per strong girl.

There are also a limited number of discretionary places available for children not in receipt of benefits-related FSM but who the local authority believe could benefit from HAF provision. Discretionary place requests must be verified by Hampshire County Council and are first come, first served. You can find out more about the Hampshire HAF programme on the connect4communities website: Hampshire Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) FAQs

To register your daughter’s place:

From summer 2026, HAF schemes are booked via a centralised booking system – instead of booking directly with each provider, all bookings will now be made through the Eequ online platform. As part of the booking process, you will be asked to provide information about your child, including any medical or additional needs, to help providers offer the best possible support.
